Requirements for the intended beta

Apple Silicon Mac, supported macOS version (to be confirmed by the actual build), disk space for the bundled core and optional add-ons, and a supported ChatGPT account. This is not a guarantee that every account plan can invoke local write tools.

Planned installation

  1. Download the exact versioned asset from a verified GitHub Release.
  2. Compare its SHA-256 to the published value before installing.
  3. Extract and drag Zodway into Applications.
  4. For an unsigned early test build, follow Apple's manual app approval steps only if you trust the release.
  5. Open the app and complete its guided ChatGPT MCP setup and real tool-readiness check.

How we decide a build is ready

Actual Mac gateway registration, permission-safe project edits, build/preview verification, recovery after restart, licence review, clean MacBook acceptance and release asset integrity must all be demonstrated first.

ChatGPT and Free-account compatibility

Important: the existing owner's ChatGPT-to-Zod connection is proven, but using a new ChatGPT Free account to invoke custom write-capable MCP tools is not yet verified. We will publish a per-plan compatibility table based on real results.
